FAQ

What are your operating hours and how can I contact customer service?

Our engineering and customer service teams operate from Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM (GMT+8). For international inquiries, you can reach us 24/7 via email at [email protected] or through our online Contact Form. Our technical sales team typically responds within 12 hours.

What is the typical lead time and shipping time for your blowers?

Total delivery time consists of two parts: Production Lead Time (Manufacturing) and Ocean Transit Time (Shipping).

1. Production Lead Time

  • Since heavy industrial applications require precise aerodynamic matching, our blowers are built to order.
  • Standard industrial blowers are typically ready to dispatch from our factory within 2 to 3 weeks.
  • Highly customized units (such as heavy-duty FRP blowers, explosion-proof models, or specialized high-temp ID fans) require 4 to 6 weeks for manufacturing and rigorous dynamic balance testing.

2. Ocean Transit Time:

Once shipped from our port in China, typical ocean freight transit times are:

  • Southeast Asia: 1 to 2 weeks
  • Middle East & Oceania: 3 to 4 weeks
  • North America & Europe: 4 to 6 weeks
What certifications do Yutong blowers hold?

Quality is the cornerstone of our engineering. We are committed to global manufacturing excellence and adhere to the following rigorous international standards:

ISO 9001 Quality Management: Our facility operates under stringent ISO 9001 standards, accredited by both CNAS (China National Accreditation Service) and IAF (International Accreditation Forum). This ensures our quality control systems are globally recognized and consistent.

CE Certification: Our industrial blower series comply with essential health, safety, and environmental protection requirements, ensuring full access and compliance for the European market.

What is your warranty policy?

At Yutong, quality is the foundation of our engineering. We stand behind our equipment with a comprehensive quality assurance commitment.

Our Warranty Terms

We warrant all finished blower systems to be free from functional defects in material and workmanship. Our warranty period is defined as:

  • 12 Months from the date of installation; OR
  • 18 Months from the date of shipment. (Whichever occurs first.)

What is Not Covered?

To ensure the longevity of your equipment, please note that the following items are considered wear parts and are subject to your facility’s regular maintenance schedule. They are not covered under the standard warranty:

Standard bearings and seals

Drive belts

Filter elements

What information do I need to provide to size a blower accurately?

To engineer the most efficient and reliable blower for your specific application, our fluid mechanics team requires the following operational data. Providing these details ensures your equipment is perfectly matched to your system’s resistance.

Essential Technical Data:

  • Airflow Rate: (CFM or m³/h)
  • Static Pressure: (Pa or mmH2O) required to overcome system resistance.
  • Gas Characteristics: (e.g., Clean air, toxic/corrosive gas, or abrasive dust)
  • Operating Temperature: (°C or °F)
  • Site Altitude: (Elevation significantly impacts air density)

How to submit your data: To streamline your request and ensure our engineers have the full technical picture:

  1. Click the ‘Free Quote’ button at the top right of this page.
  2. Select the ‘Technical Data Sheet’ option to access our specialized form.
  3. Fill in your project parameters, and the system will automatically generate a professional PDF report for your records.
  4. Once submitted, our engineering team will receive your data and provide a custom proposal promptly.
How do Yutong blowers handle highly corrosive environments (like chemical plants)?

For chemical processing and severe acidic or toxic environments, we provide multi-layered corrosion protection strategies to ensure longevity and safety. Our fluid mechanics team selects the optimal material based on your specific gas composition:

  • FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic) Blowers: Purpose-built for high-acidity and corrosive vapors. These feature premium resin molding and zero-leakage mechanical seals, engineered to withstand aggressive chemical attacks while maintaining optimal aerodynamic efficiency.
  • EPDM Rubber Lining: For heavy-duty metal blowers, we offer high-grade EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) rubber lining. This creates an elastic, corrosion-resistant barrier that protects the inner casing from acidic moisture, toxic gases, and chemical erosion.

Our designs undergo the same rigorous quality standards as our base systems, ensuring full compliance with international safety requirements. Not sure which material suits your chemical process? [Contact Our Technical Team] with your gas specifications, and we will recommend the optimal solution.

Can your blowers survive extreme high temperatures in steel and metallurgy plants?

Yes. We engineer heavy-duty Induced Draft (ID) and Forced Draft (FD) fans specifically for extreme thermal environments. To ensure uninterrupted operation in furnaces, kilns, and boilers up to 250°C (482°F) and beyond, our systems feature:

Proven Performance: Designed for heavy-load industrial applications, our blowers provide reliable, low-maintenance operation in the toughest metallurgical conditions.

Heat-Resistant Materials: We utilize wear-resistant hardened alloys and thickened impellers to maintain structural integrity under continuous thermal stress.

Advanced Thermal Protection: Each high-temp unit is equipped with specialized water-cooled bearing boxes, preventing thermal transfer to critical rotating components.

Why choose a High-Pressure Centrifugal Fan over a standard blower for dust collection?

Industrial baghouses and pneumatic conveying systems generate massive aerodynamic resistance. A standard blower often lacks the pressure to maintain efficient airflow under these conditions.

Our specialized high-pressure series (such as the 9-19 / 9-26 series) act as “aerodynamic bulldozers” designed specifically for these harsh environments:

Anti-Clogging Design: Optimized to prevent particle accumulation, reducing the risk of impeller imbalance and vibration issues over long-term operation.

Superior Pressure Capability: Engineered to punch through significant filter resistance, ensuring your baghouse remains clean and efficient.

Precision Geometry: Features narrow-blade geometries that maximize force and airflow without sacrificing stability.

How often should I service my Yutong centrifugal blower?

Routine, preventative maintenance is the most cost-effective way to avoid costly operational downtime. We recommend the following maintenance schedule to ensure your equipment remains in peak condition:

  • Weekly Checks (Operational Safety):
    • Conduct a visual inspection for abnormal vibrations or unusual noise.
    • Inspect drive belt tension to prevent slippage and energy loss.
  • Monthly Checks (Lubrication & Cleanliness):
    • Verify bearing oil/grease levels; top off as required.
    • Inspect the blower housing and inlet for heavy dust buildup that could affect airflow.
  • Every 3–6 Months (Deep Maintenance):
    • Replace lubrication oil (e.g., L-AN46 oil for water-cooled bearing boxes).
    • Conduct a thorough inspection of the impeller for signs of wear, particle erosion, or chemical corrosion.
